Working Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architect with strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure, disaster recovery (DR), and Oracle platforms. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker who can design resilient architectures across Oracle environments, data centers, networks, and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and predictable recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM solutionsaligned with business objectives
  • Architect and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, ensuring defined RTO/RPO targets
  • Design and validate failover and recovery mechanismsacross enterprise and hybrid environments
  • Implement and automate failover workflows using IaC and orchestration tools
  • Work across infrastructure, networking, storage, and security teamsto ensure end-to-end system resilience
  • Configure and optimize:
    • Load balancers (F5, HAProxy, Cloud LB)
    • DNS failover strategies
    • Network routing (BGP) and redundancy
  • Ensure data integrity and availabilitythrough:
    • Oracle Data Guard
    • RMAN backup/recovery strategies
    • Storage replication (SAN/NAS, sync/async)
  • Conduct DR testing, validation, and audit readiness documentation
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders
  • Support business development and solution design discussions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Solution Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) design and implementation
  • Deep expertise in:
    • Oracle technologies (Data Guard, RMAN, replication, backup/restore)
    • Enterprise infrastructure & hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools:
    • Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Rundeck (or similar)
  • Strong scripting skills:
    • Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Advanced networking knowledge:
    • BGP, DNS failover, load balancing, circuit redundancy
  • Experience with storage replication and consistency models
  • Proven ability to validate DR scenarios and automated failovers
  • Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have

  • Certifications:
    • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
    • CCNP / CISSP
    • DevOps / SRE certifications
  • Experience with chaos engineering tools(Chaos Monkey, Gremlin)
  • Exposure to regulated industries (audit-driven DR environments)
  • Experience with carrier management and SLA negotiation

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, high-impact environment
