Job Description
Value Technology is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including hands-on implementation, customization, and support of SPM solutions. This is a fully remote opportunity for a highly motivated professional who can work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions.
Expertise in ServiceNow platform development including:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- Script Includes
- UI Policies
- Flow Designer
- IntegrationHub
- Service Portal / Workspace
- Experience configuring and customizing:
- Demand Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Resource Management
- Agile Development
- Investment Funding
- Program & Portfolio Management
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and platform best practices.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ability to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and perform end-to-end development.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required Certifications
Must possess the following certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) – Highly Preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow SPM solutions.
- Configure and customize SPM modules based on business requirements.
- Develop workflows, integrations, and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews.
- Perform unit testing, deployment support, and production troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to ITSM, CSM, ITBM, or other ServiceNow modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow Workspaces and UI Builder.
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
