Role: Tosca Automation Engineer - (With P&C Insurance exp)

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies using TOSCA, aligned with project requirements and business goals.
- Define the scope, objectives, and priorities of automation testing efforts for P&C insurance software solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure effective test automation practices.
- Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the QA team.
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and project managers to develop detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Oversee the execution of automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts using TOSCA, ensuring high-quality and reliable test automation solutions.
- Ensure that automated tests cover critical functionalities and are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
- Ensure timely documentation, tracking, and management of software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive regression test suites to validate software stability and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on data testing progress, findings, and recommendations, and address any concerns or issues that arise.
Requirements
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Expertise in using TOSCA for test automation, including test case design, execution, and result analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of automation testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git for managing code repositories.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in leading and mentoring teams of automation testers.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies that align with project requirements and business goals.
- Strong skills in test planning, test script development, execution, and defect management.
- Experience in developing and maintaining regression test suites to ensure software stability and reliability.
- Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
- Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.
Good to Have:
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, TOSCA or Agile certifications are desirable
