Key Responsibilities - Quality Management: Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
- Dimensional Engineering: Perform GD&T analysis and use PolyWorks for 3D measurement and part validation.
- Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) to resolve internal and external quality issues.
- Technical Support: Serve as a resource for metrology, SPC, and MSA (Gage R&R) studies.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation.
- Collaboration: Work with manufacturing, tooling, and customers to manage change and resolve nonconformities.
- Mentorship: Coach less experienced team members in quality practices and core tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in GD&T, AIAG Core Tools, and metrology software.
Preferred Skills - Experience with CMM programming or 3D scanning.
- Knowledge of 6S, welding processes, or Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Proficiency in Minitab or advanced Excel for statistical analysis.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field). Experience: 2-5 years in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
Communication: Ability to convey technical data clearly to stakeholders and customers
