About the RoleWe are seeking detail-oriented
Embedded Software Test Engineers (at both junior and mid-to-senior levels) to develop, execute, and maintain test strategies and plans for our advanced embedded software products. In this role, you will create and manage test artifacts, drive automated test frameworks for embedded systems, ensure requirements traceability, and coordinate defect resolution. This is a hands-on, on-site opportunity to work with state-of-the-art embedded systems and grow your engineering career.
Key Responsibilities- Execute test cases per test plans, accurately reporting and logging defects while coordinating resolution from identification to closure using tools like Jira.
- Develop, maintain, and scale automated test frameworks and scripts for embedded systems.
- Create and manage test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manual/automated test scripts.
- Monitor test schedules, track progress, report on execution status, and ensure requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Administer configuration management for test environments, harness testing, regression testing, and laboratory equipment.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. (Note: For entry-level/entry level candidates, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required).
- Experience: Open to both early-career talent straight out of school and experienced professionals with 2+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages utilized for automation (such as Python, C, or C++).
- Core Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with embedded software testing tools, frameworks, and HP ALM.
- Experience with harness testing, regression testing, and laboratory configuration management.
