The Engineering Technician will assist in the design and development of instrumentation transformers.

What You'll Do
  • Communicate with Design Engineer to ensure accurate design requirements
  • Perform design validation testing for new product development projects.
  • Create accurate BOM and labor estimates for new products.
  • Detail construction steps for the creation of build documents
  • Create drawings/documentation for Customer and manufacturing as necessary
  • Create test plans based on product requirements.
  • Enter and maintain Engineering data in MRP system
  • Provide support to India facility as needed
  • Provide production engineering support to manufacturing
  • Follow company guidelines and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and/or 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of multiple layer BOM structures.
  • Ability to use lab equipment such as multimeters, voltage current sources, etc.

  • Ability to use various Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Access, Word etc...)
  • Use of Autocad or other drafting software with 3D modeling knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to work diligently on multiple projects/products.
