Top Skills' Details- Must have experience configuring both Juniper networking and Palo Alto firewall equipment
- Experience migrating/modifying existing network and firewall rules
- Interest/experience in security.
- First 6 months will be dedicated to supporting the Juniper environment, but could transition to more of a network security engineer depending on need after that period.
Description- This team does all of their own networking and recently acquired new Juniper and Palo Alto equipment.
- The majority of the network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls, are Juniper based.
- There are several VLANs across the facility and they utilize Zabbix for monitoring.
- Candidates must be familiar with BGP best practices. Any Linux, Cumulus, CMMC, or ISO27001 experience is a plus!
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lansing, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
