Summary

Description:

Role & Responsibilities

Maintain production and quality standards by ensuring the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Perform equipment setup, adjustments, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
Support and maintain production equipment including ovens, packing lines, and conveyors.
Complete maintenance projects independently and efficiently.
Follow all safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Experience with plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and cutting equipment.
Service-oriented with strong responsiveness and communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and complete projects from start to finish.
Process-oriented and methodical approach to maintenance activities.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Power Industrial Training Certification.
Electrical troubleshooting and PLC diagnostics.
Welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Stick).

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to walk, lift, climb, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach, twist, turn, and stoop throughout the shift.
Ability to frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as needed.
