Job Description:

Client is currently searching for a highly experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a major initiative focused on transitioning and retiring the Interim Reporting Information System (IRIS), while modernizing integrations across more than 150 applications. This is a significant opportunity for those with a strong hybrid skillset encompassing business analysis, data transformation, integration architecture, identity management, and stakeholder engagement.

The SME will be instrumental in guiding agencies through the transition to SAP S/4, API-based integrations, and Okta-enabled identity provisioning. We re looking for someone who can confidently lead these changes and ensure seamless collaboration among all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in technical architecture discussions and stakeholder meetings, understands data, integration, and identity domains holistically, acts as a problem-solver and hands-on contributor, and thrives in a flexible, cross-functional environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 8-12+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT transformation initiatives in complex organizational environments.
• Strong background in systems integration, including APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, transformation analysis, ETL concepts, and data modeling.
• Experience supporting identity and access management initiatives, with Okta strongly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP platforms, with SAP preferred and SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform business analysis and use case validation across multiple stakeholders and agencies.
• Experience with application onboarding, modernization, system transition programs, testing coordination, cutover planning, and deployment support.
• Understanding of data governance and enterprise data architecture concepts.
• Ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders and facilitate structured working sessions effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex dependencies in a large-scale, multi-agency environment.
