Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 12+ years of IT experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate should have expertise in ETL/ELT, cloud data services, big data technologies, and data warehousing.

Required Skills

12+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Data Engineering.
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark.
Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, Athena) or Azure (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
Experience with Snowflake, data warehousing, and data modeling.
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, and pipeline development.
Experience with Kafka, Airflow, and CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
Build ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise data platforms.
Optimize data processing, storage, and performance.
Develop data models and support analytics initiatives.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot production issues and support data platform enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, or dbt.
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Data Engineering certifications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
