Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 12+ years of IT experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate should have expertise in ETL/ELT, cloud data services, big data technologies, and data warehousing.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Data Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, Athena) or Azure (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
  • Experience with Snowflake, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, and pipeline development.
  • Experience with Kafka, Airflow, and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Build ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise data platforms.
  • Optimize data processing, storage, and performance.
  • Develop data models and support analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support data platform enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake, or dbt.
  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Data Engineering certifications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
