Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite, Relocation; OK)
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

Role Overview
Design, schedule, and orchestrate tasks on Azure Databricks within ETL pipelines. Handle incident resolution, application maintenance, health checks, and optimization of high-traffic services. Automate operations, troubleshoot workflows, and collaborate with IT, business owners, and customers in an Agile environment (stand-ups, demos, grooming, solutioning).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage big data ETL pipelines on Databricks.

• Integrate and optimize data flows with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

• Use Apache NiFi for data ingestion, transformation, and routing.

• Perform troubleshooting, code optimization, and routine automation.

• Support load-balanced services and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Strong Azure Databricks expertise for ETL development and big data pipelines.

• Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and cloud integrations.

• Hands-on Apache NiFi for data ingestion/transformation/routing.

• Solid grasp of cloud data engineering/storage systems.

• Strong problem-solving for ETL troubleshooting and optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Azure Synapse, Data Factory (ADF), Functions.

• Streaming/real-time data integration.

• Cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.

Desirable: Microsoft Azure, Databricks, PySpark.
