Summary

The Manufacturing Systems Administrator II is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting core systems used across manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on Quality Management platforms and their integration with broader production technologies such as MES and ERP solutions.

This position goes beyond traditional system support, requiring active involvement in manufacturing workflows and a solid grasp of production environments. The role demands an understanding of how products are structured, manufactured, monitored, and validated—covering areas such as multi-level Bills of Material (BOMs), quality processes, and shop-floor execution. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and IT to ensure systems align with real-world operations and business needs.

Key areas of immediate focus include:

Supporting and expanding the deployment of the MES platform
Participating in the evaluation and implementation of a new enterprise Quality Management System

Qualifications:

4 to 8 years of experience working with manufacturing-related systems in a production environment, or a comparable mix of education and hands-on experience
Practical experience with Quality Management Systems within manufacturing settings
Familiarity with MES and ERP platforms, particularly where systems are interconnected
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, processes, and data movement across systems
Experience working with complex and multi-level Bills of Material
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical stakeholders and production floor teams
Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and problem-solving skills
