DESCRIPTION

For Sinch to deliver on our mission and our growth ambitions in the years to come, a significant dependency will be to succeed in accelerating our work with Global Partners. Sinch has seen strong success from our work with Global Partners and our new Solutions Engineer will help us evolve this further as we expand the network of partners.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be our primary relationship with one or more partner(s) to build trust in Sinch and our cloud communication products. As partners realize the value in incorporating Sinch's conversational products, innovative voice services and email capabilities into their platforms or as a complement to their own products and services, both Sinch and the partner will benefit through increased growth. You will be expected to build and influence key stakeholders within the partner organization and guide them to drive their roadmaps to align with Sinch's ambitions for mutual benefit.

You will also be expected to be vocal internally in influencing Sinch product roadmaps, build understanding with Sales and Sales Engineering and drive enthusiasm in close collaboration with the Marketing and Product Marketing teams.

Reporting into Director of Partner Product - Solutions Engineering and working in close collaboration with the Partner Product team, you will have the opportunity to take Sinch's success with Partners to the next level.

Your Impact & Responsibilities
  • Promote, guide, demonstrate and advocate for Sinch products in the context of the partners' ecosystem, their roadmaps and as a part of a competitive market place

  • Responsible for leading and conducting needs assessment and requirement gathering

  • Maintaining partner driven roadmaps and promotional material for internal Sinch visibility

  • Collaborate with the Partner Product Team, Product Management, Sales and Product Marketing to drive visibility and suitability of Sinch products and solutions

  • Provide thought leadership and cloud communications expertise for key stakeholders within the partners' organization. You should become their trusted advisor through your expertise, your drive for innovation and market competence

  • Develop, present and own a annual partner plan for product introducitons and partner ecosystem evolution for senior Sinch leadership

  • Coordinate internally with the appropriate Product Management teams and Sales teams to drive Sinch product roadmaps

REQUIREMENTS

  • Product Management skills such as alignment of business goals with market opportunities and to conduct market research to identify gaps between Sinch products and market opportunities

  • Possess an ability to contribute input to Sinch product roadmaps and, where applicable, account specific requirements to and through Product Management

  • Excellent ability to create, build and evolve relationships with senior/C-Level stakeholders

  • Excellent written, verbal and persuasive communication skills

  • Ability to gain a comprehensive and deep technical understanding of Sinch products and continuously evolve an understanding of changing market dynamics

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a 'Customer First' and solution oriented mentality

  • Possess an ability to tailor the communication of complex technical aspects in a language and manner that is suitable for the audience

  • High energy, positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment

  • Represent Sinch and the values, culture and mission that are the pillars of what we stand for

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making

  • Previous experience in the mobile industry, telephony services and conversational messaging

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Willing to travel and visit customer sites as needed

The role requires a minimum 4 years of experience in in a similar role, likely working with a cloud communications provider, a large enterprise or for a big tech company. You will have experience working directly with clients of all types, and in a similar field is desirable but not essential. You will as part of a wider virtual team and be successful in ensuring the clients requirements map against our existing portfolio and influence the product and development where necessary. A self-starter requiring a minimum of supervision is expected, as well as a candidate used to working in a fast paced, fast changing environment. Working as part of the customer facing team to deliver a best in class service and driving a high level of customer satisfaction.

This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must reside near one of our hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO

The annual starting salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
