Summary
- 100% remote work, with preference for Illinois-based applicants.
Business WMS Implementation Lead
- Serve as subject matter expert and functional lead for WMS project areas such as Inbound, Outbound, Labor Management/Slotting.
- Oversee end-to-end business system design for operations, fulfillment, warehouse, and transportation/logistics.
- Act as primary point of contact for functionality and process issues or challenges.
- Collaborate with team members and leaders to ensure successful, on-time, and under-budget WMS and Labor Management implementation.
- Foster teamwork and promote a culture of standardization and continuous improvement (LEAN).
- Advocate for standard solutions and minimize system customization.
- Ensure and champion master data integrity and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
- Train and provide onsite support to Parts Distribution Center (PDC) staff during system launches.
- Provide governance to ensure global standardization of business processes and solutions.
- Stay updated on latest logistics technologies (e.g., Manhattan WMOS, IOT, AI, Blockchain, Robotics).
- Build strong relationships with system vendors, distribution leadership, and IT teams.
- Extensive travel required to support WMS rollouts across ten North American PDCs.
