Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA (Preferred)

Engagement Type: Contract (Starting April)

Role Overview


Technical Lead to support a strategic Accuity upgrade initiative within the GRC and Regulatory Risk Management organization. This role will serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LexisNexis Accuity solutions, with a strong focus on OFAC screening application configuration, optimization, and cloud transition to Azure environments.



The ideal candidate combines deep functional knowledge of financial crime compliance technologies with hands-on engineering capability and cloud migration experience.



This is a high-visibility engagement supporting regulatory and compliance-critical systems.






Key Responsibilities



1. Accuity / LexisNexis Technical Leadership





Lead the technical upgrade of the LexisNexis Accuity platform

Serve as SME for OFAC screening configurations and rule tuning

Ensure system alignment with regulatory compliance standards

Support validation, testing, and post-upgrade stabilization





2. OFAC Screening Application Configuration





Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot OFAC screening workflows

Fine-tune watchlist filtering, risk scoring, and false positive reduction

Partner with compliance and GRC stakeholders to align technology with regulatory controls





3. Azure Cloud Migration & Engineering Support





Support migration or deployment of Accuity applications to Microsoft Azure

Collaborate with infrastructure teams on:



Azure instance provisioning

Networking & security configurations

Performance tuning in cloud environments





Assist with Dev/Test/Prod environment setup





4. Technical Engineering & Integration





Provide light engineering support including:





Application configuration

Deployment validation

API or data feed integrations (if applicable)





Troubleshoot environment-level issues during upgrade

Ensure proper documentation of configurations and architecture





5. Cross-Functional Collaboration





Partner with:





GRC leadership

Compliance teams

Infrastructure & Cloud teams

Vendor (LexisNexis) support teams





Provide executive-level updates when required








Required Qualifications





7+ years of experience supporting financial crime / compliance technology platforms

Proven hands-on experience with LexisNexis Accuity products

Strong experience configuring and supporting OFAC screening applications

Working knowledge of financial regulatory compliance frameworks

Experience migrating or deploying enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure

Basic engineering skillsets (environment configuration, deployment validation, system troubleshooting)

Experience in banking or financial services environments preferred








Preferred Qualifications





Experience working in regulated financial institutions

Exposure to GRC platforms and regulatory reporting systems

Understanding of cloud security and data governance in Azure

Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
