Main Purpose of the Role

This position will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures in order to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supportproductstewardshipactivitiestoensurecompliancewithglobalenvironmental,health,safety, andregulatoryrequirements.
  • AssistinevaluatingproductsforcompliancewithregulationssuchasRoHS, REACH,Prop65,ConflictMinerals, PFAS, andotherapplicablestandards.
  • Collaboratewithengineering,quality,supplychain,manufacturing, andregulatoryteamstoresolvecompliance-relatedissues.
  • Prepareandmaintainregulatorydocumentation,declarations,compliancecertificates, andcustomerresponses.
  • Monitorchangesinenvironmentalandproductcomplianceregulationsandcommunicateimpactstotheorganization.
  • Supportsustainabilityinitiatives,includingmaterialriskassessmentsandenvironmentallyresponsibleproductdevelopment.
  • Participateinsupplierengagementactivitiestoobtaincomplianceinformationandimprovedataquality.
  • Assistincustomeraudits,regulatoryinspections, andinternalcompliancereviews.
  • Maintainaccuraterecordsanddatabasesrelatedtoproductcomplianceandstewardshipprograms.
  • Analyzecompliancedataandpreparereports,dashboards, andpresentationsformanagementandcustomers.
  • Contributetocontinuousimprovementprojectsrelatedtoproductstewardshipprocessesandtools.
  • Excellentverbalandcommunicationskillsatmultipleleveloforganization.Abletoarticulatefindingsandanalysisintechnicalreports
  • Collect, review and maintain material composition and compliance data from suppliers and internal databases.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelors Degree ( 16 years) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience/Background

  • 0-3 years relevant engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience with CAD systems.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical reasoning, physics, electronics, metal working and plastics.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally.

The base pay for this position is $73,900.00 ? $116,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
