Investment Data Analyst

• Business Requirements Analysis and Solutioning
  • Review and translate business requirements into clear and actionable data requirements to enable business outcomes.
  • Learn the future state data design and help ensure adherence to the vision through participation in detailed design and solutions engagement with program participants and business subject matter experts.
  • Evaluate data requirements across various investment functions and data domains (compliance, benchmarks, risk & analytics, etc) and action their delivery through the defined workflows in partnership with Market Data, Reference Data, Technology and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Connect the dots across workstreams and identify gaps and opportunities for improved business process and controls.
• Interface documentation and delivery
  • Document the relevant interface specifications and operating model agreements, highlighting any emerging new data requirements along the way
  • Develop and drive project plans for interface delivery and report progress and risks/blockers to leadership

What you need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in the Asset Management industry, with exposure to investment workflow and data needs.
• Strong communication skills to convey data concepts and business outcomes effectively.
• Experience with complex business requirements analysis and data requirements extraction.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a results-oriented focus.
• Knowledge across the securities spectrum (asset classes, vehicle types, derivatives).
• Exposure to vendors and technology implementations related to investment and data workflows.
