Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Sr Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ensuring the high-quality standards of our products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvements to our quality systems, handling customer-facing quality issues, and supporting audit processes. This position requires a thorough understanding of electrical engineering, semiconductors, failure analysis, and six sigma methodologies. The candidate must have a strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all aspects of customer-facing quality, including issue resolution and communication with clients regarding product quality.
2. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve complex manufacturing and quality issues.
3. Provide audit support to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of product non-conformities.
5. Utilize your expertise in electrical engineering and semiconductors to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
6. Perform failure analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance product reliability.
7. Utilize six sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and reduce variations in our manufacturing processes.
8. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's quality objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive experience with customer-facing quality, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
4. Proven experience in audit support and quality documentation.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, semiconductors, and failure analysis.
6. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is highly desirable.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
9. Proficient in using MS Office Suite and quality-related software tools.
10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
