Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, develop, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, automation, cloud networking, security, monitoring, and microservices.

The candidate will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to architect cloud solutions, establish best practices, improve cloud infrastructure, and support multiple enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.
• Evaluate cloud technologies, platforms, system capabilities, limitations, and technical requirements.
• Develop cloud architectures using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Apply cloud delivery models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Design and implement cloud-based network architectures.
• Support Kubernetes clusters, serverless infrastructure, APIs, and cloud integrations.
• Design, deploy, configure, scale, and maintain containerized microservices.
• Implement and support CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure ARM templates.
• Create automation using Bash, KornShell, PowerShell, Cloud CLI, Kubernetes Helm, and related tools.
• Work with declarative and imperative languages including YAML, JSON, Ruby, and HCL.
• Implement cloud monitoring, logging, auditing, performance management, and operational solutions.
• Work with tools such as Sysdig Secure/CNAPP, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Operations, and similar cloud-native platforms.
• Apply cloud security, data governance, compliance, and best practices.
• Analyze business and technology problems and develop innovative, evidence-based solutions.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, models, and solution designs using tools such as Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office.
• Lead technical initiatives, provide direction to team members, and establish best practices and procedures.
• Coordinate multiple projects and assignments while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, data, and business teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, cloud technologies, software development, data analytics, data warehousing, or related technology areas.
• 7+ years of experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud-based network design principles.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, data governance, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes clusters and serverless infrastructure.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and/or Azure ARM templates.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, auditing, and performance tools.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Cloud CLI, and Kubernetes Helm.
• Experience with YAML, JSON, Ruby, HCL, or similar languages used for automation and IaC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical architecture skills.
• Excellent technical documentation and diagramming skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to lead technical teams and establish technical best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience architecting, engineering, or developing enterprise IT solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with cloud database services, including SQL/Oracle and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with data lakes and cloud ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, big data frameworks, and data processing architectures.
• Knowledge of AI services offered by major cloud providers.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid architectures.
