The Opportunity:

On our team, you will work will Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capab ilities. You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government in ensuring the space, ground and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user's needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capab ilities are delivered to meet the threat.

You Have:
  • 15+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
  • 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, or PCA
  • 2+ years of experience with performing the risk management process on space- related Major Defense Acqui sit ion Programs, including space, ground, sof tware, or hardware systems
  • Experience with identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, opportunities, and managing handling plans
  • Experience with using Micro sof t Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • Ability to effectively communicate, work collaboratively on a cross functional team, work independently, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science


Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with the Military Satellite Communications Mission area
  • 2+ years of experience with space acqui sit ion
  • Experience with a sof tware program utilizing Agile met hodologies
  • Experience with Confluence or JIRA
  • Experience working with sof tware factories or DecvSecOps pipelines
  • Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Agile Certification , such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP


Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
