Informatica Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration solutions. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows, integrating data across multiple platforms, and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and availability of data for business reporting and operational needs. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Informatica, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, along with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or related Informatica tools
* Build and support data integrations between source systems, data warehouses, cloud platforms, and downstream applications
* Create reusable mappings, workflows, transformations, and processes to support scalable data movement
* Analyze source and target systems to define data mapping, transformation rules, and business logic
* Optimize ETL processes for performance, reliability, and scalability
* Troubleshoot and resolve data load failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues
* Work closely with business analysts, data architects, DBAs, and application teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
* Support data validation, reconciliation, and testing efforts across development, QA, and production environments
* Maintain technical documentation, including source-to-target mappings, job flow diagrams, and operational procedures
* Participate in code reviews, release deployments, and production support activities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
* 3+ years of experience in ETL/data integration development
* Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or other Informatica products
* Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
* Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake
* Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema, fact/dimension models, and data transformation best practices
* Experience integrating data from multiple source systems including flat files, APIs, ERP/CRM platforms, and databases
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data and integration issues independently
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
