Tax senior

Position Summary: 

The Tax Senior will be a key contributor within the firm’s growing tax practice. This role is ideal for a hands-on tax professional who enjoys preparing a high volume of tax returns while beginning to take on review responsibilities. The Tax Senior will work closely with Tax Managers and Partners, gaining exposure to increasingly complex work while continuing to sharpen technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns, including 1040, 1120-S, 1065, and 1041.

·       Handle simple to mid-level tax engagements from preparation through completion.

·       Assist with basic review of returns prepared by junior staff as experience allows.

·       Support tax planning and compliance work for closely held businesses and individuals.

·       Work with Tax Managers on client requests and follow-ups.

·       Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to firm processes and deadlines.

·       Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·       3–6 years of recent public accounting tax experience.

·       Strong hands-on preparation experience across individual and business returns.

·       Exposure to federal and multi-state taxation.

·       CPA designation is a plus; CPA-track candidates encouraged.

·       Solid technical foundation with attention to detail.

·       Consistent employment history; job-hopping discouraged.

·       Ability to manage workload during peak tax season.

Compensation & Benefits:

·       Base salary range: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00, based on experience.

·       Additional earning potential tied to client responsibility.
