About the Role

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in React and solid experience in Ruby on Rails. This role is frontend-leaning but requires the ability to work across the stack, especially in a financial services environment dealing with complex and real-time data.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance web applications using React and Ruby on Rails
• Develop scalable, reusable frontend components and backend APIs
• Work with large, complex, and real-time financial datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend)
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 9 years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails for backend development
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data handling and UI performance optimization
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with AG Grid (handling complex financial data grids)
• Familiarity with OpenFin (desktop apps in trading/finance ecosystems)
• Experience in financial services / fintech / trading platforms
• Knowledge of real-time data (WebSockets, streaming)
• Experience with TypeScript
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
