Position Overview


We are seeking a driven IT Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of business applications. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives while improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities


Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to understand needs and align technology solutions with business strategies


• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams


• Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions

Solution Design & Implementation

• Support the design, development, and implementation of system enhancements and new applications


• Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system and project decisions


• Contribute to delivering scalable, high-quality technical solutions that drive business value

Project Support & Coordination

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously as a contributing team member


• Assist with project planning, timelines, and deliverables to meet aggressive deadlines


• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot system and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions


• Support complex business processes and provide daily functional application support


• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance system performance and operational efficiency

Qualifications


Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field


• 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related IT role


• Basic understanding of programming languages and ability to read/interpret code


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines


• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred

• MBA or other advanced degree


• Experience with project management methodologies


• Proven ability to deliver business solutions that improve efficiency and competitive advantage
