WebMethods Developer with Release Management Experience

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Job Summary

• We are looking for a motivated and hands-on webMethods Developer with strong experience in integration development and release management coordination.
• The ideal candidate should have worked in enterprise environments managing deployments, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting integration platforms using Software AG webMethods.
• This role is best suited for candidates in the 6–12 years experience range who can independently handle development activities, release coordination, and production support responsibilities while demonstrating strong communication, ownership, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support integrations using the Software AG webMethods platform

Work extensively on:

• webMethods Integration Server (IS)
• webMethods Designer
• Universal Messaging (UM)
• Trading Networks (TN)
• API integrations and web services
• Coordinate application releases, deployments, and implementation activities across environments
• Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, business, and support teams for smooth release execution
• Participate in release planning, scheduling, and deployment validations
• Troubleshoot integration and production issues and provide timely resolution
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and defect fixes
• Ensure adherence to deployment standards, release processes, and best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical and release documentation
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular status updates

Required Skills

6–12 years of IT experience with strong hands-on webMethods development experience

Strong expertise in:

• webMethods Integration Server
• REST/SOAP Web Services
• API integrations
• Flow services
• XML/XSLT
• Good experience in Release Management and deployment coordination
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in large enterprise environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience
• Knowledge of SDLC, deployment lifecycle, and environment management
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
