Microsoft Copilot Studio / AI Agent Specialist Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated
Microsoft Copilot Studio / AI Agent Specialist to help scale and operationalize Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions across the organization. In this role, you will transform business requirements, Copilot prompts, and AI use cases into enterprise-ready agentic experiences while ensuring alignment with governance, security, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agent development, prompt engineering, testing, and deployment of AI-driven solutions in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft 365 Copilot agents using Copilot Studio and related AI technologies.
- Translate business requirements, Copilot prompts, and use cases into scalable, enterprise-ready AI solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, security teams, and governance groups to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
- Develop and execute testing strategies to validate agent functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Support the qualification, deployment, and adoption of Copilot agents across various business functions.
- Analyze agent performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, usability, and business value.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and deployment standards.
- Stay current with emerging AI, Copilot, and Microsoft ecosystem capabilities to drive continuous innovation.
Required Qualifications - 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, prompt engineering, or AI-powered solutions.
- Experience developing, testing, deploying, or supporting AI agents, Copilot agents, chatbots, or similar intelligent automation technologies.
- Familiarity with governance, risk management, compliance, and enterprise technology review processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving technology environment.
- Must be located in Houston, TX, or willing to work onsite. Relocation assistance is not available.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise AI governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting AI adoption, user training, and change management initiatives.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Services and Microsoft AI ecosystem is a plus.
