Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect / Data Architect to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Python, Data Warehousing, and experience in AI/ML technologies such as Gen AI and RAG.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Snowflake data architecture solutions to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and views in Snowflake
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other systems
- Optimize and tune Snowflake performance for efficient data processing
- Implement data governance and security best practices in Snowflake environment
- Create automated processes using Ansible and Python scripts for data management
- Utilize AI/ML technologies for advanced data analytics and insights
- Stay current with emerging trends in data architecture and recommend best practices
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or Data Architect
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts
- Proficiency in Ansible for automation and orchestration
- Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and best practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies such as Gen AI and RAG
- Familiarity with cloud platforms for data storage and processing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
