Summary

CNC Set-Up Operator

Are you passionate about precision machining and eager to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Join our team as a CNC Set-Up Operator and play a vital role in producing high-quality components. In this position, you'll set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC machines, ensuring accurate preparations for production runs. Your expertise will help maintain efficiency, quality, and safety on the shop floor while contributing to a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Shift and Compensation Details:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday (Flexible before or after shift if overtime is required)
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday (Flexible before or after shift if overtime is required)

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in CNC set-up and operation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience measuring and verifying dimensions using inspection tools
  • Knowledge of CNC tooling and machine functions
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Basic computer skills for program adjustments and documentation

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with vertical machining centers and horizontal turning centers
  • Familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in CNC set-up or related machining roles

Other Requirements:
  • Steel-toed shoes required; all other protective gear will be provided
  • Ability to work on-site during scheduled shifts
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
