Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to support strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop actionable user stories.
  • Lead user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are ready for implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize backlogs and plan sprints effectively.
  • Conduct data analysis and perform SQL queries to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Promote process improvements within the development lifecycle through agile ceremonies.
Skills
  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate system architecture and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies and user story creation using tools like Jira.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in life insurance or related industries, with a solid understanding of external vendor collaboration.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Business Analyst certification (CBAP, BABOK) is a plus.
  • Strong facilitation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
