Role: QA Engineer
Location: Remote
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, particularly within the healthcare domain. This role requires a solid understanding of claims processing, member and provider data, and EDI 837 submissions, along with technical skills to validate data from SQL server , APIs, and backend processes. As a mid-level role, you will contribute independently while also supporting junior testers and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications / Responsibilities: : 7+ years of experience in
· Manual and Automation testing
· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
· Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, APIs, and database layers.
· Validate healthcare claims workflows including 837 submissions, eligibility, and provider/member data.
· Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data in SQL Server.
· Collaborate with developers and QA leads to ensure proper test coverage in sprints.
· Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
· Contribute to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for APIs).
· Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing as required.
· Assist in mentoring junior testers and reviewing their test cases.
