Job Title: SAP Senior Technical ABAP Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Technical ABAP Consultant to design, develop, and support SAP technical solutions across multiple SAP modules. The consultant will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical architects to build scalable custom developments, enhancements, and integrations within the SAP landscape. The role requires strong expertise in ABAP programming, object-oriented development, and SAP integration technologies to support enterprise-level SAP implementations and enhancements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming.
• Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects) based on functional specifications.
• Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical design and solutions.
• Develop and enhance ALV reports, BADI, BAPI, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Build and maintain interfaces with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs and database queries.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and system integrations across SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, and HCM.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, and Data Dictionary.
• Experience with RICEF development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Hands-on experience with ALV reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Strong knowledge of BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework.
• Experience with IDocs, RFC, Web Services, and integration technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, or HCM.
• Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and code optimization.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and OData services is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
