DETAILS ABOUT THE PROJECT: AI-Strategy Product Management (Salesforce/AgentForce)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MuleSoft Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise integration solutions. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, mentoring a team of developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and robust APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API-led connectivity and a proven track record of leading complex integration projects from inception to completion.

DETAILS OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND MANDATORY SKILLS & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and standards.
  • Review, interpret and respond to business requirements and specifications to ensure alignment between business expectations, Integration roadmap and core systems
  • Within the agreed Program scope, deliver and contribute to a suite of integration architecture artefacts & deliverables to define how the Future Integration Platform (FIP) will integrate with other core systems.
  • Lead the development of repeatable integration technology/information solution patterns for application of appropriate technology in alignment to business requirements and objectives.
  • Help standardize automation, logging and monitoring systems that will enable teams to be more agile.
  • Implement architectural designs based on best practices of Mulesoft
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing and delivering Mulesoft artifacts
  • Experience creating architecture artifacts associated with the C4E model
  • Able to lead or assist in the creation and development of integration platform roadmaps, including performing current state analysis, defining the future state and creating the roadmap to the future state architecture.
  • Takes responsibility for the Global integration architecture direction of the solution.
  • Strong experience and interest in solving problems in the system integration domain. Strong hold on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event Driven Architecture (EDA) and microservices.
  • Strong engineering design skills. Knowing how to break down complex problems and follow industry design methods to describe solutions.
  • Strong foundation on the integration technology and integration patterns
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with enterprise architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs. Design and implement API-led connectivity following MuleSoft's best practices (System, Process, and Experience APIs).
• Team Management & Mentorship: Experience of leading an offshore integration development team. Lead, mentor, and guide a team of MuleSoft developers, providing technical oversight and code reviews to ensure high-quality and consistent deliverables. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Work closely with the offshore integration development team to guide the detailed design, development and implementation of the integrations according to the Enterprise Design and within agreed budget and timeframes.
• Platform Governance: Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of MuleSoft development standards, security policies, and governance models. Ensure all integrations adhere to enterprise-wide security and compliance requirements.
• Development & Implementation:
  • Drive hands-on development for complex or critical components. Utilize tools like Anypoint Studio, MUnit, DataWeave, and various MuleSoft connectors to build reusable assets and APIs.
  • Analyze and designs the system requirements
  • Create RAML Specifications as API contracts for development
  • Understand and implement Dataweave scripts.
  • Deploy APIs to Cloudhub, Runtime Fabric, On-prem workers, etc.
  • Practice API-Led Connectivity
  • Implement Basic Policies in API Manager
  • Quality documentation practice for the API specifications
  • Perform extensive Unit integration testing
• CI/CD & DevOps: Work closely with DevOps teams to define and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Create/Manage Basic CI/CD Pipelines (Maven Plugin, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
• Performance & Monitoring: Oversee performance tuning, monitoring, and error handling of integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the MuleSoft platform and its integrations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, including project managers, business users, and other technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on, dedicated MuleSoft development experience.
• MuleSoft Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
• API-Led Connectivity: Proven expertise in designing and implementing API-led connectivity architecture.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Mule 4.x and DataWeave transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of API protocols (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Hands-on experience with MUnit for unit testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
  • Experience in Web Methods, Kafka, SAP Integration Suit type technologies is a plus
  • Keen interest in open-source technologies and contributing to the C4E
  • Solution delivery with Agile, Waterfall and CICD practices - like Gitlab and Jenkins.
  • Familiar with techniques related to automating platforms, deployments, system alerts and monitoring dashboards.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, or MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4).
• Integration Experience: Experience with integrations to common enterprise systems like Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or various SaaS applications.
• Cloud Experience: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid integration solutions.
• Architecture Concepts: Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven architectures, and messaging patterns (e.g., JMS, Kafka).
• Security: Solid understanding of API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
