Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to lead the financial workstream within an Oracle EBS-to-Fusion Cloud SaaS Assessment and implementation engagement for a global CPG and Apparel brand. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud Financials and EPM Cloud covering GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Close, and Costing along with a strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-currency financial operations and region-specific compliance requirements such as UK statutory invoice sequencing and CN/TW e-commerce receipt processing. This role owns the 5-Year TCO Model, Business Case, and Value Case as key deliverables within the Financial Impact & Risk Analysis phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead current state assessment of Oracle EBS R12 financial processes: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expense Management, Tax Management, Revenue Management, and Sub-Ledger Accounting.
• Document and classify Oracle EBS financial RICEFW customizations including region-specific AR invoice sequencing (UK/EU), CN/TW e-commerce receipt programs, and AP payment integrations (Billtrust, Cybersource, JPMC, Workday).
• Develop future-state financial process maps aligned to Oracle Fusion Cloud Modern Best Practices covering ERP Cloud, EPM Cloud (Financial Close, Planning & Budgeting, Profitability & Cost Management), and Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH).
• Conduct comprehensive Oracle Fusion MBP Fit-Gap Analysis for all financial processes and propose native Fusion configuration or OIC-based gap closure approaches, including elimination of customizations where standard Fusion satisfies requirements.
• Design Oracle Fusion Costing architecture covering Cost Profiles, Standard Costing, Cost Rollup, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Manufacturing Variance, Overhead Accounting Rules, and Subledger Accounting.
• Lead Conference Room Pilot (CRP 0 and CRP 1) financial workstream sessions to validate Fusion Financials configurations, demonstrate gap closure approaches, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Own development of 5-Year TCO Model, One-Time Cost Model, Value Case, and Financial Business Case to support executive decision-making at the Final CXO Presentation.
• Define Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) rules, Accounting Hub configurations, and period-close orchestration workflows in the Oracle Fusion target state.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SCM (Costing), Procurement (AP/Payment), and CX (AR/Revenue) workstreams to ensure financial data flows are intact across the end-to-end future-state design.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• 8 10 years of Oracle ERP financial consulting, with a minimum of 4 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations or assessments.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud Financials: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expense Management, Tax Management, Revenue Management, and Sub-Ledger Accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud: Financial Close & Consolidation, Planning & Budgeting, Profitability & Cost Management, and Narrative Reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Costing: Cost Profiles, Standard Cost configuration, Cost Scenario & Rollup, Overhead Accounting Rules, and Subledger Accounting for manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS R12 Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) with ability to map EBS configurations, DFF-based customizations, and custom programs to Fusion equivalents.
• Experience designing OIC-based AR/AP integrations (SOAP/REST/FBDI/FTP adapters) and ability to define functional integration specifications for technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build 5-Year TCO models, Business Cases, and ROI analysis for CFO/CXO audiences, including investment, benefits, and net present value modeling.
• Proficiency in Oracle Unified Method (OUM) and strong MS Excel (financial modeling), MS PowerPoint (CXO deliverables), and MS Visio (process mapping) skills.

Preferred Experience:

Exposure to company Agentic AP, Agentic R2R, or AI Maestro for AI-driven financial process automation in Oracle Fusion environments.

Experience with Celonis Process Intelligence for financial process benchmarking (close cycle time, AP invoice cycle, cash application efficiency) in ERP migration contexts.

Familiarity with Oracle FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates for financial data migration and period-open balances conversion.

Domain expertise in CPG, Apparel & Footwear, or multi-entity Manufacturing with multi-currency operations and statutory compliance requirements (UK, EU, APAC).

Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist or CPA/CMA/ACCA qualification is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field. CPA/CMA/ACCA certification preferred.
