Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Google Cloud Platform Engineer (Senior Technical Lead) with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key Google Cloud Platform services and will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services
· Build and optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing
· Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
· Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud data platforms
· Implement best practices for data architecture and cloud engineering
· Support analytics and reporting requirements across business teams
Required Skills (Primary)
· Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
· Expertise in:
o BigQuery
o Cloud Composer (Airflow)
o Dataflow
· Advanced proficiency in SQL
· Strong experience in data engineering and ETL processes
Preferred / Secondary Skills
· Experience with Informatica and MS SQL Server
· Exposure to Looker (Looker Core) or other BI tools
· Experience with Qlik Sense or Power BI
· Knowledge of Snowflake and Oracle
· Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud frameworks
Additional Notes
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
· Prior experience in a technical lead role is highly preferred
