Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex transformation initiatives focused on Global Shared Services setup and Legal Entity Separation (Carve-outs/Divestitures) for a large, multinational environment. This role requires strong finance functional expertise, executive stakeholder management, and proven experience driving large-scale separation and transformation programs.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in establishing Global Business Services (GBS), managing carve-outs or spin-offs, and overseeing multi-workstream programs involving finance, HR, procurement, systems, and operations separation.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Transformation Leadership
- Lead end-to-end program management for global transformation, shared services setup, and legal entity separation initiatives
- Manage multiple workstreams including Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and Operations
- Establish governance frameworks, program plans, milestones, RAID logs, and executive reporting
- Drive Day 1 and Day 2 readiness for separation and transition initiatives
Global Shared Services Setup
- Design and implement Global Business Services (GBS) / Shared Services operating models
- Support transition of HR, Finance, and Procurement functions into centralized global services
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across regions and business units
- Ensure process standardization and operational efficiency
Legal Entity Separation / Carve-Out Execution
- Lead company separation, divestiture, or spin-off programs
- Oversee disentanglement of systems, finance processes, reporting structures, and operations
- Manage Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and separation timelines
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams on ERP and reporting separation
Finance Functional Oversight
- Provide strong finance program oversight including GL, financial reporting, controls, and compliance
- Support finance transformation activities in separation context
- Ensure regulatory, audit, and financial governance requirements are met
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as primary point of contact for senior executives (VP and C-level stakeholders)
- Lead executive steering committee meetings and status updates
- Build strong client relationships and proactively manage expectations
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies effectively
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Program/PMO or Transformation Management experience
- Finance and accounting and FP&A practitioners functional process business practices doers. People who worked for the CFO and controllers and accounting managers.
- Proven experience in Global Shared Services (GBS) or Shared Services setup
- Hands-on experience in Legal Entity Separation, Carve-outs, Divestitures, or Spin-offs
- Strong finance functional knowledge (GL, reporting, accounting, controls) in a separation context
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programs
- Excellent executive-level stakeholder and client management skills
- Ability to work onsite in New Brunswick, NJ
