Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Google Cloud Platform, DevOps automation, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud security.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Kubernetes
Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine
Strong CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience
Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar tools
Strong understanding of DevSecOps and cloud security
Experience with IAM, VPC, VPC Service Controls, Workload Identity Federation
Experience integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Docker/containerization
Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or Shell
Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Splunk, or Datadog
Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Design and manage secure Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Manage GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, and other Google Cloud Platform services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
Implement security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
Manage IAM, service accounts, workload identity, and cloud security policies.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
Troubleshoot production and deployment issues.
Collaborate with development, security, and platform engineering teams.

Preferred:

Google Cloud Platform certifications are a plus.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps automation.
Experience supporting large-scale, highly available applications.
Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
