Role: Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Long term

Required Skills and Experience

7-10 years of experience in a cloud engineering or similar role, with a focus on private cloud technologies.

Extensive hands-on experience with OpenStack, including a deep understanding of its architecture and core components.

Proven experience in migrating workloads from VMware ESXi to OpenStack.

Strong experience with Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and/or Windows Server administration.

In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including L2/L3 networking, VLANs, VXLAN, and routing protocols.

Experience with storage solutions for cloud environments, such as Ceph, Swift, or other distributed storage systems.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Preferred Qualifications OpenStack certification (e.g., Certified OpenStack Administrator) is a huge plus.

Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.

Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
