job summary:

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on driving quality for an innovative, next-generation device ecosystem platform. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with early concept reference devices and physical hardware prototypes across active development cycles. You will join an established team with strong technical leaders, offering a great environment for scaling automated test infrastructure and validating emerging technology form factors.

salary: $55.90 - 65.90 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites validating software stability across specialized concept devices, platform builds, and release environments.
  • Write and update infrastructure software to automate the installation, provisioning, and automated testing configuration directly on physical devices.
  • Execute automated test runs, perform regression, smoke, and release validation testing, and analyze results to diagnose underlying issues.
  • Document and log software bugs with clear reproduction steps, tracking defects through resolution in close alignment with core developers and product management.



qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, test automation, or quality engineering.


1+ years of specialized experience in automated hardware/device-level testing, specifically focused on provisioning, configuration, and execution on physical units.


Strong programming proficiency in modern strongly-typed languages (such as Kotlin, Java, or C++) with the ability to clear a hands-on coding assessment.


Demonstrated capability to independently drive technical tasks, manage local test environments, and generate comprehensive execution and defect diagnostics.
