PeopleSoft Financials Techno-Functional Consultant

Position Summary:

Jefferies is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Financials Techno-Functional Consultant. This role requires over a decade of experience in PeopleSoft development, with a strong focus on the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) suite. Candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical financial applications, supporting both project work and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain PeopleSoft FSCM modules - Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management.
• Write and optimize PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, SQRs, Component Interfaces, BI Publisher reports, and Integration Broker services
• Work individually on full application development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation
• Partner with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in integration development, interface configuration with external systems along with work related to data movement.
• Assist client business users during validation, UAT test script preparation
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
• Ensure compliance with internal development standards, security policies, and SOX/financial audit requirements
• Create and maintain detailed technical/functional documentation and user training materials

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience
• Expertise in PeopleTools 8.5x+, including PeopleCode, App Engine, Component Interface, SQR, and Integration Broker
• Strong understanding of core financial business processes and data structures in modules – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management
• Experience with PeopleSoft technical development for integrating with 3^rd party systems
• Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Mapping of data between 3^rd party and PeopleSoft systems, integrations.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft with external ERP or financial systems via REST/SOAP APIs
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
