About Acuna Total Car Care
Acuna Total Car Care is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join its team in Reno, NV.
You\'ll work across Domestic, Asian, European, Fleet, and Light Diesel vehicles, handling everything from advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics to engine, transmission, HVAC, steering, suspension, and timing repairs.
The shop emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, accountability, and continued development, with Shop Foreman support and no estimating or parts-ordering responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced engine, drivability, and electrical diagnostics
- Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, and HVAC systems
- Perform timing component repairs
- Complete engine and transmission repairs and replacements
- Diagnose and repair Light Diesel and European vehicles
- Complete thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Mentor developing technicians when needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- ASE Certifications required
- Strong diagnostic skills across multiple makes and models
- Ability to accurately identify root causes of vehicle concerns
- Ability to complete quality repairs efficiently
- Japanese and European vehicle experience preferred
