Job Title - Software Development L3 (Deployment Engineer)

Call Notes

- Emphasized on SDLC knowledge, software delivery, application deployment/configuration, production rollbacks, and troubleshooting beyond basic ticket management.
- Prior candidate gap: several earlier candidates had L1/L2 or production-support backgrounds but lacked practical understanding of how software is deployed, configured, and moved into production.
- Looking for someone relatively junior who already has hands-on engineering fundamentals and can learn and grow, rather than a highly senior developer or a pure operations/support candidate.
- Relevant exposure includes release deployment, production validation and rollback, Linux/shell scripting, server provisioning/configuration.
- Candidates should be technically capable of interpreting logs and should have solid Linux/shell-scripting fundamentals.
- Candidates from strong technology/engineering environments can be considered if they have the required deployment/software-delivery background.
Education - Bachelor's Degree
