Sr Project Manager - CAPEX

Title:  Sr Project Manager (CAPEX/M&A/Infrastructure)

Location:  Saint Paul, MN - Hybrid/onsite

Duration: 12 Months+

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an active, hands-on Project Manager (“Project Leader”) with deep expertise in end-to-end project management across both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Scrum delivery models.

This role requires someone who actively practices project management today (not someone who has moved into adjacent roles) and can manage multiple concurrent subprojects within a complex program environment.

• The ideal candidate is a professional who is a structured thinker, highly organized, financially savvy, and comfortable navigating ambiguity across cross functional teams and external partners.
• Has background in and/or direct experience with IT M&A or other highly controlled working environments
• Has background and direct experience in IT Infrastructure
• Is proficient in common project management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, MS Project Desktop, Jira, etc.)
• Differentiator: Has background or experience in engineering, CAPEX projects, manufacturing (greenfield, brownfield), or a general engineering project management background
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of concurrent active, hands-on project management experience (must be currently practicing).
• Proven ability to manage multiple overlapping subprojects in a complex program structure.
• Expertise in creating and maintaining Waterfall schedules and Agile/Scrum artifacts.
• Strong analytical capability for T&M estimations and CR preparation.
• Advanced proficiency in project financial management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication, executive presence, and vendor facing professionalism.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive structure in uncertain environments.
