Workday Specialized Technical Consultant

-The Workday Specialized Technical Consultant is an individual contributor responsible for advanced configuration, optimization, and technical problem solving within Workday's Talent & Performance and HCM modules. This role partners closely within the HR Technology team and with stakeholder partners to deliver scalable, high quality Workday solutions, with a strong emphasis on configuration expertise, data integrity, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure solutions for Workday Talent, Performance, and HCM modules, ensuring design is scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs.
• Design and implement complex configuration changes with a strong understanding of upstream and downstream impacts.

• Serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders, providing guidance on best practice configuration approaches.
• Execute and support quality assurance and regression testing for new functionality.
• Ensure configuration changes adhere to established governance and technical standards.

• Support testing, deployment, and stabilization activities tied to Workday releases and enhancements.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.
• Contribute to the Workday knowledge base to support consistent delivery and cross team learning.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• 5 8+ years of experience supporting and configuring Workday, with deep expertise in Talent & Performance, including Skills functionality.
• Proven ability to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Workday configurations.
• Strong understanding of HR talent processes, data structures, and system dependencies.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for technical excellence.

• Exposure to adjacent modules (e.g., Core HCM, Learning, Reporting) to support cross functional solutions.
