Full Stack AI Engineer - Vue/Python/AI A fast-growing early-stage startup is hiring a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer for a full-time, fully remote role. PST/MST preferred. The company is building an AI-driven platform that analyzes financial data to uncover hidden cost savings. The tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, Vue/Nuxt, AI/LLMs, and AWS, Kubernetes/Terraform.
This is a hands-on role on a small team (5 engineers) where you'll own features end-to-end across backend, frontend, AI integrations, and infrastructure. They're looking for a senior engineer who can operate independently, enjoys building from scratch, and wants to apply AI in practical, real-world use cases. You'll have a high level of ownership and the chance to help shape a growing product already in use across multiple industries.
Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Python backend development
- Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React
- Hands-on experience building and integrating AI/ML or LLM-based solutions
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or modern DevOps practices
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Desired Skills & Experience - Experience with tools such as LangChain, Pydantic, Claude, or similar AI frameworks
- Prior experience in a startup or 0?1 environment
- Exposure to data-heavy applications or analytics platforms
- Experience building full-stack applications with end-to-end ownership
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
