Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead high-priority initiatives within an HR Technology portfolio, including the launch of an AI-driven HR platform. The role operates in a hybrid delivery model that aligns Waterfall governance with Agile execution. The Senior Program Manager will serve as a delivery lead and a secondary Agile coach, guiding stakeholders through Agile transition, enforcing accountability, and ensuring technical excellence. The role requires hands-on program management and comfort with detailed planning and tracking.

Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of an AI-driven HR platform and strategic projects across 1-5 teams and 40+ individuals.
Bridge Waterfall project plans in ServiceNow SPM with Agile execution in Jira and Confluence.
Partner with an Agile Coach to transition legacy teams to Scrum or SAFe and uphold Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
Serve as primary stakeholder contact, challenge assumptions, clarify contradictory requirements, and drive ownership of decisions.
Coordinate dependencies across Audit, Legal and Compliance, and Cybersecurity to meet corporate standards.
Perform hands-on program management tasks including schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and status reporting.

Experience Requirements:

7-10+ years managing complex programs in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
PMP and SAFe certification (Agilist or Program Consultant) are mandatory.
Expert proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow SPM or similar PPM tools.
Demonstrated servant leadership with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Proven ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and drive accountability.
Preferred: HR Technology or HR digital transformation experience.
Preferred: Workday and ServiceNow HRSD experience.
Preferred: Experience delivering AI or Machine Learning projects.
Preferred: Leading Agile transformation at department or portfolio level.
Preferred: Experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner.
On-site in New York, NY three days per week with some travel to Princeton, NJ.
