Kforce has a client that is seeking a Mid to Senior Embedded GUI Software Engineer 0nsite - 5 days/week.
Overview:
A growing engineering technology company is seeking a Senior Embedded GUI Software Engineer to support the development of next generation patient monitoring medical devices. This is a direct search partnership with the hiring manager and offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, and stock/RSUs. This engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded GUI applications for regulated medical devices, working closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, performance optimized user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain GUI applications for embedded medical devices
* Implement software using C++ and Qt/QML in resource constrained environments
* Participate in peer design and code reviews
* Develop software documentation, specifications, and test artifacts
* Support software verification and testing activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 3-7+ years of embedded or GUI software development experience
* Strong C++ development experience with Qt/QML
* Hands-on experience with GUI design and development
* Solid understanding of computer graphics fundamentals
* Strong knowledge of operating system concepts (multithreading, scheduling, memory management)
* Experience with configuration management tools (Git, Jira)
* Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment
* Passion for GUI development and optimizing performance within hardware constraints
Nice to haves:
* Qt/QML graphics frameworks
* OpenGL ES and shading languages
* Experience developing graphics intensive embedded applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
