Location: Phoenix, Arizona - Hybrid
Payrate: $34.88/hour on W2

Role Overview

The Procurement Analyst will support IT strategy and project initiatives by managing software procurement activities, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, licensing compliance, and financial analysis. The role requires expertise in IT software procurement and the ability to collaborate with technical, legal, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT software procurement.


Preferred Skills
  • IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, RaaS, and IaaS licensing models. Understanding of per-user, per-core, and consumption-based entitlements to prevent overspending and audit risks. Proficiency in the ISO-9902 Cloud Procurement Framework.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts, including pricing, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), data sovereignty clauses, and renewal caps.
  • Technical Project Management: Ability to manage a procurement pipeline as a project, including milestone planning, stakeholder management, and alignment of procurement timelines with technical rollout schedules.
  • Complex RFP/RFQ Development: Experience drafting and evaluating complex solicitations for enterprise-level IT services, ensuring Statements of Work (SOWs) are technically sound and legally enforceable.
  • Financial & Data Literacy: Ability to conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to justify multi-year technology investments to executive leadership.


Certifications / Education / Additional Skills
  • Relevant certifications in procurement, project management, or IT asset management are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise software vendors and contract management processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud procurement and software licensing compliance best practices.
