As a member of our Audio Product Design team, you would conceive, design, test, solve problems, and bring into production products that re-define the music experience. We work closely with various multi-functional teams including Industrial Design, Audio Engineering, Packaging, Safety, Hardware Engineering, EMC, Operations and Marketing. Expertly integrating advanced components into brand new products means every single day is different here! This role may require international travel (~10%).
7+ years experience in product design, or equivalent\nBS Mechanical Engineering\nDemonstrated ability in plastic and metal part design\n3-D CAD skills\nExperience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, and geometric tolerancing\nAnalytical/problem solving skills\nSome experience with basic finite element analysis and general mechanical engineering analysis\nFlexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment\nAbility to travel internationally (10%+)
Experience working with overseas manufacturers\nConsumer electronics design experience\nIntegration of wireless antenna (GSM, GPS, Wifi) into mechanical enclosures\nExperience with component modules (Audio drivers, batteries, power supplies, camera modules, etc.)\nDesign of audio subsystems (microphone, speaker, receiver)\nMSME
