Job Overview
Seeking a customer-focused Field Sales Support Representative to support Account Consultants during the annual Open Season enrollment period. You will assist federal employees, U.S. Postal Service employees, retirees, and other eligible individuals by providing accurate information about health benefit plans and available resources.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support health fairs, benefits events, retirement seminars, community events, webinars, and other Open Season activities.

• Engage with attendees, understand their questions, and provide clear information using approved materials.

• Explain health plan options, benefits, rates, provider access, prescription resources, wellness programs, and digital tools.

• Support Account Consultants with enrollment activities and customer/member engagement.

• Handle basic questions and escalate complex or member-specific issues appropriately.

• Assist with event setup, materials, attendee flow, presentations, and event logistics.

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling personal information.

• Capture attendee questions, feedback, and follow-up needs.

• Travel throughout MD, DC, and Northern VA as assigned.
 
 
Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, healthcare, benefits, outreach, or a related field.

• Knowledge of health insurance, employee benefits, federal/USPS benefits, or Medicare is preferred.

• Experience supporting health fairs, benefits events, presentations, webinars, or community outreach.

• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and active-listening skills.

• Ability to learn and communicate detailed benefit information accurately.

• Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with diverse audiences.

• Ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule during Open Season.
