Job Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP HANA Database systems on the AWS cloud platform. The role involves managing system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and administration across various SAP components and databases.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA Database systems on AWS cloud platform.
- Installation and configuration of ECC 6.0, BOBJ 4.2, BODS, SAP SLT, Fiori, PI/PO, Control-M, and Solution Manager 7.2.
- SAP HANA Database system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Subaccount, CPI/Integration Suite) and SAP Cloud ALM.
- Execution of system installation, upgrades, system refresh, and transport management.
- Planning and applying support pack stacks upgrades and EHP upgrades.
- SSO configuration setup and support for SAP PO/PI and SLD configuration.
- Sybase database administration.
- Implementing SAP HANA table management techniques including data compression, table partitioning, and loading/unloading tables into memory.
- Experience in HANA database installation, configuration, patching, data provisioning, administration, and modeling.
- SAP Business Objects and HANA integration, design documentation, RFPs, and estimation plans.
- Experience with high availability, backup, and recovery mechanisms.
- Implementing SAP HANA security mechanisms, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA systems.
- Experience with SAP SLT replication from and to SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Knowledgeable in all SAP products, ABAP, JAVA, databases, and third-party tools.
- Experience with SAP BASIS administration and support pack upgrades, patching, and system refreshes.
- Performance tuning and optimization of HANA databases.
- Deploying packages and components to HANA databases.
- Migrating HANA databases to a new host and from scale-out to scale-up.
- Renaming HANA databases.
- Setting up HA and DR for HANA databases.
- SDA and SDI configuration for HANA SLT integration with HANA DBCC setup.
- HA/DR setup and cluster handling.
- S/4HANA migration and conversion experience.
